Sacraments
Gonzaga happily makes the sacraments of the Eucharist and Reconciliation availble to students and faculty through the year.
In addition to gathering for the whole school liturgies, the school celebrates the mass every morning of school at 7:30 AM in the Chapel of Our Lady at the entrance to the school. The chapel is frequently available for quiet prayer through the course of the day. Teachers are occasionally able to organize with one of the Jesuits to celebrate a class mass.
With the support of the Religion Department, Campus Ministry organizes opportunities for each class to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation during the school year. With the assistance of the Jesuit community and many area priests, Gonzaga makes confession available on both the freshman retreat and the Kairos retreat.
