Gonzaga strives to ensure that anyone who is accepted to the school is not prevented from attending because of financial reasons.  In 2017-2018, well over one-third of our students will receive in excess of $3,100,000 to assist their tuition obligations.  All of Gonzaga's admission decisions are made without regard to financial need.

For Families Already Enrolled at Gonzaga:

All families receiving need-based financial aid must re-apply for aid each year.  The deadline for applications from returning students' families is March 9, 2018.  We use the School and Student Services (SSS) in our decision process, and you must fill out an online application with them at sssbynais.org/parents.  Please mail Gonzaga a paper copy of your application along with an optional letter explaining any extenuating circumstances.  Families who are not currently receiving aid from the school are welcome to submit an application, by the deadline, using the above link.

For Freshman Year Applicants:

The following are ways to seek tuition assistance:

*Gonzaga Need-Based Grants

We welcome applications for need-based aid from any freshman hopeful.  Each year donors to Gonzaga enable Gonzaga to offer assistance to families who are not able to pay the full tuition. We use the School and Student Services (SSS) in our decision process, and you must fill out an online application with them at sssbynais.org/parents. Please mail Gonzaga a paper copy of your application along with an optional letter explaining any extenuating circumstances.

The application deadline is January 11th, 2018.  Grants are awarded based on a family's presented need, financial figures, the overall need of the incoming class, and Gonzaga's financial aid budget.  Notification of financial aid grants will be sent with the acceptance letters on February 22, 2018.

*Gonzaga Presidential Scholarships

Presidential Scholars: the top academic applicants are awarded a $3,000.00 annual scholarship for each of their four years at Gonzaga.  Families cannot apply for Presidential Scholarships.  They are awarded by the Admissions Committee at the time of admission to incoming freshmen only.

*Gonzaga Sousa Scholarships (music based)

John Philip Sousa Scholars: the top ten music applicants from the incoming freshman class are awarded a $1,000.00 annual scholarship for each of their four years at Gonzaga.  After acceptance to the freshman class, students must audition with the appropriate faculty member from the Fine Arts Department for the Sousa Scholarship.  Applications for this scholarship are included in freshman acceptance packets.

The Archdiocese of Washington no longer provides financial aid to families whose sons attend Gonzaga.  Sources other than Gonzaga:
