Andy Bradley- Head Coach

Coach Bradley enters his ninth season as head coach after four years as the varsity infield coach. In 2011, Coach Bradley was selected as the WCAC Baseball Coach of the Year.  A Gonzaga graduate, Bradley was captain of the recently inducted Gonzaga Athletic Hall of Fame 2000 WCAC Championship team and was named team MVP and runner-up for WCAC Player of the Year. Coach Bradley played baseball at Prince George’s Community College, Montgomery College and West Virginia University before starting his coaching career at Gonzaga in 2005. In 2012, Coach Bradley became a member of the National Coaches Institute and Sports Challenge Leadership Academy. He is on the board of directors of the NVTBL as well as the Foggy Bottom Foundation, and is the co-founder of DC's Community Coaching Alliance. In 2015, he led the Varsity squad to its first ever DCSAA Championship at Nationals Stadium. 

Cory Hudson- Assistant Coach


Coach Cory Hudson, entering his 5th season with the Varsity, is a local product having played baseball at Gonzaga College High School as well as The Catholic University of America, where he was part of two conference championship winning squads. He is currently teaching Physical Education at the grade school level in DC and is entering his third season as an Assistant Coach on the Varsity baseball team at Gonzaga. Cory will be handling the Varsity outfielders as well as coaching 1st Base for the third year in a row.

 Gage Levac- Pitching Coach

Coach Levac is entering his 4th year with the Gonzaga Eagles.  He started off in the 2014 season as the JV Purple pitching coach and took over the JV Purple head coaching duties last year. Coach Levac got the call up as the Varsity pitching coach for the 2016 season.  He played collegiate baseball at Shenandoah University from 2006-2009 while helping lead his team to a world series appearance, in Appleton Wisconsin, during his senior year.  
He brings valued experience as a player and a coach to the pitching staff.  Throughout the past 3 years, Coach Levac has worked with the players and has a great rapport with the staff and looks forward to the endless possibilities this season. 

 Evan Christian- Assistant Pitching/Bench Coach


 Coach Evan Christian is from South Carolina where he went to Hilton Head Christian Academy. He was named to the SCISA All-Star team from his Freshman to Senior year and played for two state championships. He played two seasons of DIII baseball at Piedmont College where he was a starting pitcher. While at Piedmont, he played in the Christian College World Series and started Game 1as a freshman. After his Sophomore season, Coach Christian transferred to DII Lander University in the Peachbelt Conference where he was a midweek starter and came out of the bullpen on Conference weekends. He has coached at the showcase and 18U levels in Northern VA for the last 2 years and is beginning his first stint with the Gonzaga Eagles.

Ross Bruenger- Roving Instructor

 

Coach Ross Bruenger went to Clinton High School in Clinton, IL, from 2004-2008.  He was a captain who led CHS to sectional championships in 2006 and 2007 and was an all-conference selection as a pitcher and outfielder in 2007 and 2008.  He went on to pitch and become a captain at Illinois Central College for two years before transferring to the University of Maryland in College Park.  Ross graduated from the University of Maryland in 2012 and has been coaching travel baseball in the DC area since 2013. 

Adam Delauter- Roving Outfield/Base Running Instructor

  

Coach Adam Delauter graduated from Catoctin High School in Thurmont, MD in 2006.  He went on to play two years of JUCO Baseball, playing at Chesapeake College his Freshman year, then transferred to Allegany College of Maryland and played for JUCO Hall of Fame coach, Steve Bazarnic.  After leaving ACM, he transferred to Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA and was a two year starting outfielder for the Hornets.  During his two years at Shenandoah, they achieved a top 10 National ranking in Division III baseball, and won the South Regional championship in both 2009 and 2010, making it to the Division III National Championship both years.  Adam was an All USA South Conference outfielder in 2010. This will be AD's fourth year coaching for the Gonzaga Eagles.

 Max Eckert- Roving Catching Instructor

Coach Max (Skip) Eckert has been with the Bradley Baseball Academy for a number of years and has also been the head baseball coach for Woods Academy, before starting his youth development and travel program called Wild Bill Sports. His collegiate years were spent Stevenson University where he was selected MVP in 2009 and broke the single season home-run record. In 2008 he was a Clark Griffith All Star and spend the winter of 2010 playing in the Arizona Winter League. For several years Skip was a coach and mentor for the RBI program. He is also the current development coordinator for McLean Little League.

Jack Evans- Bunting/Base Stealing Roving Instructor

Coach Evans was a 4 year player at Gonzaga college high school, and was selected to the all conference team his senior year in 2012. Following his days on Eye Street, Jack spent the next four years at Oberlin College, where he was a member of the 2016 NCAC Champions. That same year his team lost in the championship game of the super regional's and finished up 8th in the country.  His senior year, Jack was 2nd on the team with a .346 batting average, while leading the team in stolen bases. Coach Evans currently works in Tysons Corner for CBRE as a tenant broker for multi market companies throughout the Washington D.C area.  

 Joe Mineff- Roving Instructor

Coach Mineff enters his third season with the Gonzaga baseball program and second season as the Head Coach, after joining the JV White team in 2015 as an assistant coach.  Prior to joining Gonzaga, Coach Mineff worked with the SOL Foundation on the island of Roatan, Honduras, coaching 9 to 12 year olds as well as working with an 18 and older team.  Coach Mineff attended the University of Toledo and is a graduate of Toledo (OH) St. John’s Jesuit and played baseball for the Titans. He has also coached four seasons of 13U and 14U travel baseball in the DC area.

Michael Straub- Roving Instructor

Coach Michael Straub was born and raised in Falls Church, VA and played his high school ball at George Mason High School. After high school he went on to play Division III baseball at the University of Mary Washington where he was voted 2nd team All Conference as a pitcher his senior year. Throughout college he played on the Vienna Riverdogs in the Cal Ripken Summer League. After college, Coach Straub had the chance to play professionally in the Pecos League where he played two seasons–the first with the Taos Blizzard in New Mexico and the second with the Alpine Cowboys in Texas. He has coached at the 18U level for the Bradley Eagles and joins the Gonzaga Staff as a roving instructor for the first time in 2017.
