Coach Waller arrived at Gonzaga in 1998 after serving as assistant coach for the boys team in his hometown of Cooperstown, NY. At Gonzaga he coached the JV and assisted the Varsity team until 2001, when he moved to Lexington, VA and coached the girls Varsity and JV teams at Rockbridge County High School. After returning to Gonzaga he became the Assistant Varsity Coach under Coach Don Smith. With Don’s departure from Gonzaga, Scott assumed the role of Head Coach. In 2007 Coach Waller was honored as the Washington Post All-Met Coach of the Year after leading the Eagles to Back to Back WCAC Championships. In his first seven years as Head Coach, Coach Waller's Teams have been in seven straight WCAC Championships winning four. In 2009 the team was ranked #4 in the Nation in the Adidas NSCAA poll, # 1 in the Region and #1in the area by the Washington Post. As head coach of Gonzaga he has an impressive 117-33-17 record.
